The Hermes Dust Boot is a front-mount dust boot that allows for unparalleled access to the spindle for bit changes while still maintaining full-bore flow for the dust hose. Most dust boots on the market today either have restricted flow paths resulting in clogging and subpar performance, or bulky and cumbersome attachments that make bit changes difficult and time-consuming. For the first time, it isn’t necessary to compromise between performance and usability.
Unlike other fixed-height (constant-Z) dust boots, the Hermes Dust Boot does not require bit-specific adapter plates to maximize suction at the bit. Instead, the Hermes extends upwards and seals against the spindle body. Say goodbye to the setbacks caused by broken plates and poor suction. The Hermes performs the same whether you are using a 2″ surfacing bit or a 1mm endmill.

I am pretty new to the onefinity system coming over from the x-carve system. I purchased my elite Foreman with the suck it dust boot and found it to be only okay. I did a lot of searching and research for a better dust boot and really liked what I saw with the Hermes. I already had a 3D printer so it was an easy choice. The ability to replace any parts that I may break is an absolute plus. The dust boot works a dream and is the best one I have ever used.

I’ve used a few different boots over the years, and this is by far the best. I had a few questions which were promptly answered. The boot works great. I followed the instructions for adapting the clear tube for bit visibility and that’s really nice.
Easy to print, everything printed nicely first attempt and the sliding dovetail mechanism works really well.
